The suspect in a California ballroom shooting was captured on surveillance video being confronted and disarmed by a man at a dance studio in California.
The man named Brandon wrested a modified nine millimeter submachine gun style weapon away from the gunman at the second dance studio in Alhambra, California. His act was praised by officials as heroic as he saved countless lives and averted another tragedy.
Meanwhile, the gunman identified as seventy-two year old Huu Can Tran had first shot up star ballroom dance studio in Monterey Park, California, attacking dancers who were celebrating lunar new year's eve on Saturday night killing eleven people and wounding nine others.
Police said that Tran later died by suicide. Investigators have not said what Tran’s motive was or whether he targeted specific dancers in the gunfire.
